WorkBC Employment Counsellors provided specialized employment-related services to Survivors of Violence and/or Abuse.
Our staff are trained to support any individual dealing with violence and abuse issues who are returning to work and in need of specialized services. Clients are provided with individualized services that address their barriers through counselling, personal development and employment related skills to prepare for employment, educational upgrading, post-secondary education and training opportunities.
Clients are provided with referrals to a variety of community organizations and resources where they can access family supports, language training or support, health and wellness services, training, childcare and community crime prevention and safety programs.
